Jayne Willis
Broker/Owner
I began working in the Real Estate industry in 1978. I started at First American as a Senior in High School. I went on to work at Chicago Title for almost 20 years, including 13 years as Subdivision Manager. There I worked with Builders, Developers and others in that industry.
In 2000, I was asked by Centex Homes to start a branch of their title company, and I opened Commerce Title, managing 12 employees in 4 counties. I also worked for Centex Homes and Ennis Homes, in their Land Acquisition and Development Departments.
In 2009, I obtained my Real Estate license, and joined RE/MAX – Visalia.
Then in 2017, after 8 years with RE/MAX – Visalia, I accomplished my goal to become a Broker, and opened my own Real Estate company: Real Estate by Design.

Tatiana Ruelas

I became a Realtor and joined Real Estate by Design in 2018.
Prior to working in Real Estate, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from Fresno State. While attending college, I worked at Best Buy building customer service and relationship skills. After graduating, I worked for Tulare County Department of Education as a substitute teacher. Once my children grew older, I decided to make the transition to Real Estate. After meeting with Jayne Willis, Real Estate by Design Owner/Broker in early 2018, seeing how professional Real Estate by Design was, and learning about the company's values, I decided to dedicate myself to obtaining my Real Estate license. I wanted to dive into a career that I have been fascinated by and that would allow me to be there for my young children during every milestone.
Being bilingual and having lived in different areas of Tulare County for the last 18 years gives me a competitive edge considering I am familiar with the area. When my husband and I were purchasing our first home, I remembered the excitement of becoming a first-time homebuyer. I want to help others share in that experience and I am ready for the adventure of meeting my Client's needs.

I became a Realtor in 2016, and joined Real Estate by Design in 2019.
In 2001, I graduated with an AA from College of Sequoias. In 2003, I received my BA from Dordt College in Business Administration.
Prior to Real Estate, I managed retail stores (Buckle, Toys R Us, and Babies R Us), and was a stay-at-home Dad.
I wanted a career that offered me the freedom to have more time with my family. I have 8 children, and Real Estate makes that happen. I love to look at houses, and make people’s dreams a reality. Real Estate allows me to do both!
As a Real Estate Professional, I work with Buyers, Sellers, and Investors. Whether you’re looking at a $50,000 condo, or a $1,000,000 home, I'm here to help! I am an honest, professional, and knowledgeable Realtor serving Tulare, Fresno, and Madera Counties. I have a strong passion for helping people buy, sell, and invest in real estate. I became a Realtor in March of 2021. It is my mission to use my career in Real Estate to make a positive difference for those in my community. Real Estate excites me because it is always changing and the opportunities are effort-based and endless! I love staying busy and productive, and I am ready to invest that energy into helping others find their forever homes. I believe the place we call home is important, not only because our precious memories are held within its walls, but also because it is one of the biggest purchases we will ever make! Therefore, my goal is to help my Clients find the perfect home that will meet not only their physical needs, but their emotional and financial needs as well.
When I am not casually browsing Zillow, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 4 fur babies, especially when we all pile on the couch to binge-watch Netflix together. I also enjoy hosting swanky parties for my friends and family, complete with fancy cheeses and luscious desserts!
I am so blessed by the opportunity to work with Jayne and her team because I trust they will empower and encourage me to be the best Realtor I can be.

Kelsey Van Dyk
Transaction Coordinator, Licensed Salesperson
I have been in the Real Estate industry
since 2006.
I first started working at Commerce Title as a receptionist. Since then, I have worked in various
positions with RE/MAX and Prudential California Realty.
I handle all of Real Estate by Design’s transactions. This includes: opening and closing
files, sending and receiving disclosures, scheduling repairs,
and maintaining correspondence between realtors.
In 2018, I passed the real estate exam to become a licensed Agent.

Katelyn Shaw

I have been in the Real Estate industry since 2005.
I first started working at Commerce Title auditing files. Since then, I have worked in various aspects of Real Estate at Chicago Title, Sundowner Homes, RE/MAX, Prudential California Realty, and Country Club Mortgage.
I handle all marketing for Real Estate by Design. This includes: MLS listings, Just Listed and Just Sold postcards, sign flyers, and Client Marketing.
